Professional photographer and pilot team.  Our professional pilot and photographer work as a dedicated, experienced team.  Virginia Aerial Photography's images are of the highest quality because our photographer can focus on his craft, and leave the flying to the pilot. 

Our vintage Cessna 120 is ideally suited for aerial photography.  If offers a high wing configuration for unobstructed views.  The plane can fly at a low speeds while maintaining high maneuverability, perfect for photographic work.  Our plane has removable windows, which means your images will never be taken through glass.

We provide state of the art photographic equipment.  Peter Aaslestad shoots with Canon's flagship digital SLR: the EOS 1Ds Mark III, using exclusively "L" series lenses and professional grade RAW converters.  Images can be delivered digitally or as lab corrected professional prints on Kodak Endura and Kodak Endura Metallic papers.

Peter Aaslestad's photography has been featured in Virginia Living, Inform Magazine, Traditional Building and other publications. He is nationally recognized for his work with architectural photogrammetry as a means to preserve and restore historic structures.  His work is currently on exhibition in Staunton.

Will Moore is a commercial pilot and flight instructor who has logged over ten thousand hours in the skies and is still in love with his 1946 Cessna.
